About Lubbock Tree Pros

Lubbock Tree Pros is an advertising and referral service for tree work in Lubbock and the surrounding South Plains towns. We are not a tree company, and we say so plainly because you should know who you are dealing with.

How it works

You call the number on this site or send an estimate request. That reaches us, and we pass it to an independent local tree company that serves your area. They come out, look at the tree, quote the job and do the work, and your agreement is with them. There is no charge to you for the referral.

Why the site exists

A lot of good tree work in Lubbock is done by small outfits: a truck, a chipper, a climber and a couple of ground crew who are very good with ropes and saws and have no interest in running a website. Most of their work comes by word of mouth, which is fine until a storm hits or you have just moved to town and have nobody to ask.

This site is the front door they do not have. We bring the enquiry, they do the job they are good at.

What we will and will not tell you

The advice here is written for Lubbock conditions: spring wind among the strongest of any US city, a record drought in 2011 whose damage is still showing, alkaline soil, alley lots, and a lot of fast-growing trees planted decades ago that are now at the end of their lives. Where the honest answer is "prune it and keep it" or "water it properly and check again next year", that is what these pages say. We would rather lose a removal than recommend one that is not needed.

What this site does not have

No testimonials, no star ratings, no gallery of finished jobs. That is deliberate. We have not done the work in those photographs and did not collect any reviews, so publishing either would be inventing a track record. The photographs on this site are licensed stock images that illustrate the trade; none of them shows a job arranged through us.

What is here instead is the advice: what the work involves, what it tends to cost locally, what the city and the utilities require, and when a tree can be kept. Judge the site on whether that is useful and accurate.

Licensing and insurance

We do not perform tree work and hold no licence or insurance for it. Texas does not license tree trimming or removal at state level, so the thing to check on any tree company is its liability insurance, and for anyone spraying or injecting a tree, a Texas Department of Agriculture pesticide applicator licence. The company we connect you with is responsible for its own insurance and any licence its work needs, and you are entitled to ask for proof of both before work starts.

Who runs it

Lubbock Tree Pros is operated by Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC. The full arrangement, including how we are paid and what happens to your details, is on the advertising disclosure page.

Questions people actually ask

How do you make money if the referral is free?

The tree company that takes the job pays for the introduction. You pay them for the work at whatever you agree, and nothing you pay is marked up by us. That is why the advice on this site can afford to tell you a tree can be kept.

How do you choose which company gets my enquiry?

By whether they cover your area and can get to the job in a sensible time. We are not running an auction, and your enquiry does not go to five companies who then compete for you by phone.

Will I get called by a lot of tree companies?

No. Your details go to one local company, not a list.

What if the job goes wrong?

Your agreement is with the company that did the work, so that is who you take it up with, under their insurance and their terms. Tell us as well. The whole model depends on the companies we send people to being good.

Can I see reviews?

Not from us. This site launched in 2026 and has no review history of its own, and we will not manufacture one. Ask the company that quotes you for references and check them directly.
